Hong Kong - Victoria Peak

On a humid, rainy day in Hong Kong, what else do you do but walk to the Peak? It's only 435m....straight up! Or what feels like it at some points.

"Scotty! I need more power!"
"I'm givin it all she's got Cap'n!!"

As I was walking up towards what I was sure was going to be a myocardial infarction, I passed surprised Trekkers who I assume must have thought that the old steam engine services up the mountain had recommenced with the volume of wheezing and puffing that was approaching.

Nearly at the top I looked across and I was still only level with a couple of high rise residential towers. Man, I'd hate to be on the 50th floor when it's time for the inevitable fire drill. Anyway, major medical incident averted and the pictures tell the story,
